Philosophy Circle offers tailored support for applicants, lifelong learners, and institutions. Explore the options below.

Our Story

The goal to make a rigorous philosophical education accessible began in 2020 with the launch of Joshua’s YouTube channel Philosophy for All.

Philosophy for All has been the passion project of our founder Joshua Yen. Reading Philosophy and Theology at Oxford, he uses his research to introduce viewers to key contributions in the field. More recently, Joshua has started to host top professors from around the world to share their insights and research. Encouraged by the openness of professors and the shared sentiments of his peers, Joshua aims to use Philosophy Circle to make rigorous philosophical education available to the wider community.

Originally, Joshua started off tutoring through our parent company Logos Education, guiding students through university applications. However, with his specific expertise in Philosophy and Theology, in 2025, he started Philosophy Circle to specifically help people with their journeys in philosophy and theology. Central to Philosophy Circle is the idea that philosophy is not just about abstract thought, but about how one can incorporate the tools of philosophy into one’s daily life. For this reason, we host a handful of services to achieve these goals.

Josh Wong

Josh has a very deep knowledge of the philosophy of religion, as well as of Dostoevsky, Heidegger, and analytic philosophy, but even more impressively he is able to explain the most complex philosophical ideas and ensure that someone with less knowledge like myself can understand.

Benjamin Qin

Josh is great at teaching Philosophy. He explained things in a new way and gave me an insight into looking at the Philosophy Test in a way which I didn’t think of before. Thank you so much.
